The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released an official recruitment notification for 22 Class-I (Junior Grade) Home Guards in the Assam Home Guards Services. These positions are under the Home and Political Department, Government of Assam.

🧑🎓 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the following mandatory requirements to be eligible for these posts:
1. Educational Qualification
- Must hold a Graduate Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government.
2. Age Limit (As of 01/01/2026)
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 38 Years
- Age Relaxation: * SC / ST: 5 Years
- OBC / MOBC: 3 Years
3. Other Requirements
- Nationality: Must be an Indian Citizen.
- Residentship: Must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- Proof of Residency: Candidates must produce a Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) or a valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate of Assam.
- Small Family Norms: Candidates must submit a declaration (Form-A) regarding the Small Family Norms at the time of application.
